Corrections
A wrong section number, a wrong figure or a settlement rule stated incorrectly is an error and gets fixed. The corrected page is re-dated and, where the change affects meaning, a note says what changed.
What counts as an error
- A statement about the Act or a regulation that does not match the text of the law.
- A figure, date or licence number copied wrongly from a source.
- Arithmetic that does not add up in a worked example.
- A settlement rule described in a way that standard rule books do not support.
- A source that has since changed, leaving the page out of date.
A difference of opinion about whether to bet, or on which team, is not an error. The site holds no opinion on either.
How to report one
Use the channel on the contact page. At the moment that channel reads: not published yet. Once an address is live, a useful report names the page, quotes the sentence and points to the source that contradicts it.
What happens next
- The claim is compared with the primary source again.
- If the page is wrong, the text is corrected and the "last updated" date is changed.
- If the correction changes the meaning of the page, a short dated note is added to it saying what was wrong.
- Spelling and layout fixes are made without a note.
No time limit is promised for any of this, because the site cannot yet guarantee one.
Record of corrections
None so far. The site launched on 2026-10-04. Material corrections will be listed here with the date, the page and a one-line description.
The register copy
The table of bookmaker licences is a dated copy of the regulator's list for the 2025/26 trading period. If the regulator changes its list, the copy is stale, not wrong, until it is refreshed. The live list always takes priority, as the editorial policy explains.
